Log in to the Desktop RDC application using the credentials provided to you.
Click the Scan Check icon
You will arrive at the Scan Control screen. Place your check(s) on the scanner. Click Start Scan
- Take note: if using a single check scanner, you may have to click “start scan” for each check
As checks are scanned, they will populate in the Action list with a confidence rating and the status.
- Confidence score = numerical rating of how clear the check images or data on the check was read during the scan. 1000 is the highest score
- Status will indicate all items need reviewed with items in red needing definite attention.
To review, double-click the item, and the check image will open. From here, you can make necessary adjustments (for example: dollar amount scanned in wrong)
- Changes are automatically saved as you move to the next item in the batch
You can click through all the checks from your deposit using the directional buttons located in the upper left of the screen.
Once all adjustments have been made, click the Scan Control tab to return to the main screen.
Make sure the total number of checks and the dollar amount are correct
Then click Upload to submit the deposit.
